From scripture, I believe the primary reason for Jesus’ reaction was just simply because they were using it as a marketplace and not a place for communion. Almost like a desecration of the House of the Lord. In that particular scripture, Jesus was not dealing with their transactions more so than He was dealing with their contempt of this sacred space.

I believe the revelation Kennisha was referring to was that what was to be used for worship as an offering was never supposed to be sold for profit in the house of the Lord. Not the actual bird itself.
