From the Seek Session
During our seek session, I saw adults in a classroom sitting at tables and in chairs that were meant for little children. They were about to do an activity and stood up to go get their glue and some string. The main things highlighted were the glue, the string, and how they were acting. My question was why were these grown folks like little kids in the classroom?
I didn’t say anything yesterday because I wanted to get an understanding of what I saw.
What I got was: there is an importance of being childlike in this season.
When we are childlike:
We walk in humility knowing our need for God in our times of suffering. Come to Him as little children.
We walk in total dependence on God, understanding that He is with us and for us.
We have a trust in God that does not waver (totaling trusting in His Word and His unfailing love for us).
The glue and the string: We know that glue is the substance used to hold things together to form a permanent bond or connection. Remember Lamentations 3:21~”This I recall to my mind, therefore I hope.” It was the word of the Lord that Jeremiah remembered. It was the glue that established a connection which allowed him to have faith to hold on to the expectation. As stated last week hope is something we hold on to (kind of like a rope/string). It’s our expectation that we hold fast to.
Not only are we to be childlike, but we are to feast on God’s word. His word will allow us to have unshakeable faith where we know our hope is certain.
Romans 5:5 (AMP) Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us.
Hebrews 10:23 (AMP) Let us seize and hold tightly our confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word].

So good. Thank you for sharing Alissia🙏🏾❤️🤗
