Proverbs Ch. 4-6
God's covenant love for us
Father God you are the All Wise God. You have instructed me to get wisdom and to develop good judgment. You have instructed me to never turn my back on wisdom for wisdom will protect me. I am to love wisdom and wisdom will guard me. I am to prize wisdom because wisdom will make me great. I am to embrace wisdom and wisdom will honor me. Wisdom will crown me. Wisdom will give me a long, good life. Wisdom will lead and teach me so that I will walk in straight paths. Help me Father God to never do as the evildoers, turning their backs upon wisdom and her path of life.
