This teaching of defensive vs. offensive weapons reminds me of military terms. I see casting out "decoys" and destroying ideas, ideals, thoughts from hell. Structuring our minds with truth from God's word and God's promises so that when a "decoy", thought comes, the century of the Word of God will spot it and war against what is sent from hell, overcome it and entrench truth from God's word the century watching over every thought. This is so powerful from a stance of "moral excellence". We have to carry moral excellence from the truth of word of God.
