Offensive Weapon
This Monday's teaching reminds me of military life. The defensive vs. offensive terms helps us to remember that it is our responsibility to get off of defense and go hard on offensive weapons. When a thought is sent from hell, no matter the circumstance sent with that thought, we must examine that thought with offensive weapons. Does that thought align with God's truth/God's promises or does it align with what was sent from hell? I see the word of God, truth, as a century, standing guard over our minds/mindset, if there is a mindset that doesn't align with God's truth, then the century of God's word will war until that "decoy" is destroyed. We must be willing at all times to be aligned with truth (God's truth) in order for the century of the word of God to fight effectively. Our wills must be surrendered even though this present world system is against being a lover of God's truth, we must stand with God's word vs. the world system. It is a worthy stance to align with God's truth.
